About Scott Stockwell
Scott Clinton Stockwell has been serving families and small businesses in the Lawrence and Douglas County Kansas area for over nineteen years. Scott graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1984. From 1984 to 1987, Scott served as Administrative Assistant to Keith R. Henley, Commissioner, Kansas Corporation Commission. From 1987 to 1991, Scott served as Director of the Kansas Corporation Commission’s Utilities Division. Scott was a member of the Lawrence Business Education Partnership from 1992 to 2005, and for two years served as Co-President. In 2001, Scott was named Lawrence Public Schools Outstanding Citizen. Scott is a member of the Lawrence Douglas County Estate Planning Council. Scott and his wife Sonja live in rural Douglas County. Their son Julien will be attending California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo this fall and their daughter Michelle attends Free State High School.
